WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., December 4, 2018 – The statewide law firm of Reid Burman Lebedeker Xenick is pleased to announce that veteran trial attorney Dean Xenick has joined the firm as a named partner.
Xenick has more than 17 years of experience as a trial attorney. The native Floridian concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, defective drugs and products, mass torts (Multi-District Litigation), insurance litigation, business litigation, complex commercial litigation, general civil litigation, and legal malpractice.

Xenick worked for one of the largest insurance defense firms in Florida for almost 10 years, where he was a junior partner. He has unique insight on how to handle personal injury cases against insurance companies. Xenick handles cases in Florida state and federal courts, in addition to several federal courts across the United States in Multi-District Litigation matters.

Xenick is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator for circuit civil court matters, including personal injury, wrongful death, business cases, insurance disputes, commercial cases, legal malpractice, and general civil litigation matters.

Xenick was elected to the Palm Beach County Bar Association Board of Directors in 2013,
where he is currently serving his third two-year term as Director. He is also an Emeritus member of the Craig S. Barnard Inns of Court, a nationwide organization whose mission is to foster excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal skills. He is an active member of the Palm Beach County Justice Association, the Florida Justice Association, and the Young Lawyers and North County Sections of the Palm Beach County Bar Association.
In 2018, Florida Bar President Michelle Suskauer appointed Xenick to the Florida Bar’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee (DIC), where he serves on the inaugural Executive Council Subcommittee. He is also on the Voluntary Bar Leadership Grants Subcommittee for DIC. In 2011 Xenick was appointed by then Florida Bar President Scott Hawkins to the Florida Bar’s Code and Rules of Evidence Committee, where he served two three-year terms as a member.
Xenick is actively involved in the Palm Beach County community, including volunteering as a youth soccer coach in the Palm Beach Gardens youth soccer league. He has also served on the Highballs and Hibiscus Host Committee, benefiting the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation, and has served on the host committee of Arthur’s Jam, benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Xenick received his J.D. degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2000, and he earned a B.A., cum laude, in Criminology from the University of Florida in 1997.
